Q: How do I re-season my cast iron?
A: To re-season your cast iron, thoroughly wash your cast iron with dish soap and water. Once dry, apply a thin coat of cooking oil to inside and outside of all pieces. Place oiled pieces on top rack of oven, and place a baking sheet on the bottom rack to catch possible oil drips. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Let your cast iron cool completely before removing from oven to prevent burn or injury.
